comes from a
family of storytellers....his Uncle James (Unk) was the master
storyteller. His stories of Florida Crackers include tales of humor,
history, people, family and just good common sense. He has told at
the Florida Folk Festival for many years...also other festivals, churches,
schools, foreign student groups, retired groups and even the local jail.
He hopes that the tales will spark the listener to a brighter day, know a
little more about Florida, and
encourage them to tell their stories. To hire

read to her kindergarten and first grade classes. Dramatic reading
was especially fun and captured the attention of her listeners. Sue
was in one of the first "Spellbinder" classes offered by Mitchell O'Rear,
and she taught storytelling with Project Imagination. She often combines
stories with songs accompanying herself on guitar. In addition to
classrooms, you can find Sue at some local churches and in retirement
communities sharing stories and songs of adventure, courage, and just
plain fun! For hiring details, please
